About these terms
These terms apply to your use of the PetalHook storefront and your purchases from it. Read them alongside the product description, refund policy, privacy policy, and pattern permissions. If you have a question before ordering, contact PetalHook.
Our products
PetalHook sells digital PDF crochet patterns. Read the product description and pattern notes before starting your project. A digital pattern is not a finished item. You provide your own yarn, tools, and other supplies.
Your finished result may vary with yarn, tension, gauge, color choices, and technique.
Orders and payment
You must be legally able to enter into a purchase or have the required permission from a parent or guardian. Provide accurate order and contact information and use a payment method you are authorized to use.
Prices are displayed in U.S. dollars unless a different currency is expressly shown. Any applicable taxes and the total payable are shown before you complete payment. Your order is subject to successful payment and acceptance. If an order cannot be supplied, we will contact you and return any payment that must be refunded.
Digital access
For released patterns, file access is provided after payment confirmation using the download instructions associated with your order. Keep your own saved copy. See digital delivery & download help for practical guidance.
Refunds and cancellations
Digital sales are generally final once files are made available, subject to the exceptions and consumer rights described in our refund policy. Nothing in these terms removes rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Pattern ownership and permitted use
Patterns are licensed, not sold with a transfer of intellectual-property rights. The pattern use & permissions page explains personal copies, gifts, sharing, and commercial-use requests.
Using the website
Use the store lawfully. Do not attempt unauthorized access, interfere with its operation, introduce harmful code, misuse another person’s information, or infringe intellectual-property rights. Links to third-party services are provided for convenience; those services have their own terms.
Reviews and contributions
Submit only content you are entitled to share, based on your own experience. Do not include private information about another person. Reviews and photos are published with permission.
Changes, mistakes, and questions
We may correct errors and update store information. Material changes will not retroactively remove rights attached to an existing purchase. The terms presented when you order apply to that order, subject to mandatory law. These terms do not exclude liability or consumer remedies where doing so would be unlawful.
